Introduction

JAB Recruitment is in the business of helping people find jobs.  We are a Recruitment Company and as such during the partnership process of helping you find a job we ensure that we have a lawful basis for processing your personal data.  We will collect and securely store your CV and any other personal data that will help you find a job.  This Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data to help you find a job.  It describes how we process your personal data and how, in doing so, we comply with our legal obligations to you.  At JAB all staff have been trained to steadfastly promote a data protection and GDPR Conscious Culture across all working practices across our entire business.  Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us and we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data privacy rights.

Candidate Data

Why we require your data?

In order to provide the best possible employment opportunities that are tailored to you, we need to process certain information about you.  We only ever ask for details that will genuinely help us to help you be successful in finding a job.

What kind of data do we request?

Examples of this data includes; CVs, References, Next of Kin, Emergency Contact, Incorporation of Limited Company Certification, Company Bank Details (so we can pay your Company for work provided), Passport, Company Insurance Policies, Professional Certification, Educational Certification (we may from time to time require to verify the voracity of your Data).

How do we use your data?

We only share your CV with our Client once we have first communicated directly with you to advise you of the Company and Role.  Only after you have consented to JAB speaking with our Client on your behalf do we send your CV to our Client.

How do we store & safeguard your data?

We care about protecting your information.  That’s why we put in place appropriate measures that are designed to prevent unauthorised access to, and misuse of, your personal data.  We will keep in regular contact with you to ensure you remain happy with us storing your personal data.  You have the following rights;

  • The right to rectification
  • The right to erasure
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object
  • The right to not be subject to automated decision-making including profiling

JAB has worked closely with all the Third Party Job Boards we work with to ensure they are also GDPR Compliant and also have a GDPR Conscious Culture.

Client Data

If you are a JAB customer and we are in the process of providing you services such as finding Candidates who are the right fit for your organisation, we may need to collect and use information about you or individuals at your organisation so we can contact you in the most professional manner.

Supplier Data

We need a small amount of information from our Suppliers to ensure our relationships run smoothly.  We need the contact details of relevant individuals at your organisation so we can communicate effectively with you.  We also need other information such as your bank details so we can pay for the services you provide.
