A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Vendor Maintenance Specialist - to support their Accounts Payable Team.

**Please note - this is an open ended, and indefinite contract role with the opportunity to convert, but not guaranteed. Initial assignment length estimated to be 1 year or longer.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • No C2C
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Hybrid - In office, Monday - Wednesday, Work from home Thursday/Friday

Support the accurate creation, maintenance, and management of vendor records within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to supplier inquiries via phone and email regarding vendor setup and maintenance in a timely and professional manner

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

  • Enter new vendor information and update existing vendor records, ensuring accuracy and complete documentation

  • Assist with annual 1099 preparation and reporting activities

  • Track, monitor, and document key business initiatives related to vendor data

  • Troubleshoot system-related issues impacting vendor records and support end users as needed

  • Maintain and update process documentation and procedural guides related to vendor maintenance activities

  • Interact with a wide range of stakeholders with professionalism, tact, and courtesy

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Maintain reliable attendance and consistent performance standards

  • Adhere to safety standards related to personnel, systems, and company assets

  • Perform additional daily, weekly, monthly, or project-based tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience / Knowledge

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Licenses

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (for occasional travel, if required)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities

  • Solid clerical and basic accounting skill set

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Ability to follow established procedures, schedules, and workplace guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Previous experience working with Oracle applications
