The Storekeeper is responsible for executing product and material handling activities within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and QHSE standards. This role includes inspecting and accepting incoming shipments, fulfilling material requests, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials; verify deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders, reporting discrepancies as needed.
Pick, pack, and issue outgoing inventory, ensuring items are properly packaged and documentation is complete.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment (with training/certification).
Perform inventory cycle counts, support physical inventories, and assist with resolving discrepancies.
Conduct kitting and Kanban replenishment tasks, as well as other materials management initiatives.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
Investigate and resolve local warehouse and inventory issues as directed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and all QHSE procedures.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to support operational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Top Skills: Warehouse operations, forklift operation, customer/driver communication.
1–3 years of warehouse or materials handling experience preferred.
Strong physical capability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Physical, labor-intensive role in a warehouse setting.
Safe lifting practices required (30–50 lbs. regularly).
PPE required: coveralls, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes/boots (contractor-provided).
