Overview:
Under broad direction, concentrate on one or more significant systems, technology stacks, or products specific to either a Product Service Line or a Major Corporate Function. Focus also on architecture that spans multiple projects while aiding Solution Architects with individual solutions.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Perform analysis and design tasks necessary to develop the Enterprise Architecture (EA) discipline and ensure its application. Assist with governance activities to guarantee EA compliance. Confirm that solution delivery life cycle efforts incorporate all facets of EA. Collaborate with solution development projects to align systems and infrastructure with the EA. Document individual solution architecture design and analysis work, especially as specific solutions are created or updated in projects by project architects or solution architects, in a structured manner that aligns with the EA framework and store it in a common repository. Direct enterprise solution decisions by analyzing technology, business trends, and strategies. Establish principles and models to steer enterprise solution decisions. Identify key solution portfolios and manage them, either by leading the activity directly or by setting up and supporting asset-centric portfolio management disciplines for portfolios such as applications, service-oriented architecture (SOA) services, or shared infrastructure. Create and implement roadmaps that detail the evolution of designated enterprise solution portfolios from their current to future state. Comprehend and promote the principles of business and IT strategies, as well as EA development and service delivery.
