A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Senior Talent Development Specialist to join their team for a 6-month contract.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is a this is a 6-month W2 CONTRACT position with the potential to be extended or converted based on performance and business need.
- Candidates must be local to the Denver, Metropolitan area.
- Hybrid: Monday - Wednesday onsite located in Lakewood, Colorado, Thursday/Friday work from home remote.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely for any employer without restrictions, present or future need for sponsorship. No visa sponsorship available.
Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Talent Development Specialist who will design, implement, and support comprehensive talent development initiatives across our organization. This role is pivotal in establishing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards, managing a robust Learning Management System (LMS), and coordinating multiple training projects under an effective project management framework. The successful candidate will leverage the ADDIE model to ensure that training programs are effective, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement SOPs and Quality Standards - Create, document, and deploy SOPs that standardize training processes. Establish and enforce quality metrics to ensure operational excellence and compliance across training initiatives.
- Full-Scale LMS Administration -Oversee administration and continuous improvement of the LMS, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance. Optimize LMS functionalities to support evolving training requirements.
- Apply the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to develop, deliver, and refine training programs. Conduct needs assessments and evaluate training outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Support multiple training projects concurrently by utilizing traditional project management methodologies alongside the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
- Program Coordination – Manage and coordinate talent management programs that align training initiatives with overall business objectives and workforce planning. Develop and implement process & structure to ensure these programs are consistent, scalable, and effective.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Develop strong relationships with HR, operations, safety, and other key departments. Serve as the primary liaison communicating training initiatives, updates, and best practices across the organization.
- Monitor and Report Performance Metrics –Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and training metrics to assess program effectiveness. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 7-10 years proven experience in LMS administration and training program coordination.
- Demonstrated success in developing and enforcing SOPs and quality standards.
- Strong familiarity with the ADDIE model and the full spectrum of the talent development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within a structured project management framework.
- Hands-on experience in training development using various content development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) to create engaging learning materials.
