We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-performing Planning & Analysis team supporting capital projects and a construction-related business unit. This role plays a critical part in financial forecasting, reporting, performance analysis, and process controls across multiple internal functions.
PLEASE NOTE:
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership teams.
Maintain and update monthly capital project forecasts
Partner with cost center owners to support forecast updates and financial tracking
Develop and maintain monthly revenue and expense forecasts
Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation for capital and expense projects
Maintain detailed records related to RFPs, project costing, and bid analysis
Perform monthly billing analysis and generate post-billing reports
Build and maintain KPI dashboards and management summaries
Provide financial insights on project performance and trends
Support internal and external audit data requests
Ensure compliance with applicable customer and supplier contracts
Assist in preparation of monthly earnings and forecast reports
Compile and analyze combined financial and operational metrics
Support annual budgeting processes
Participate in system testing, implementation, and process improvements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, project controls, or related roles
Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Dependable with a strong work ethic and stable work history
Ability to work flexible hours when business needs require
