Level III Rope Access Technician w/NDT

Project Dates: November 1, 2026 – October 31, 2027
Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off
Position Overview
Seeking experienced IRATA Level III Rope Access Technicians for a long-term offshore project. Technicians will lead rope access activities while supporting inspection, maintenance, and NDT operations on offshore structures, piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and mechanical/structural components.
Selected candidates must successfully complete 2–3 days of testing consisting of three exams prior to assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Current IRATA Rope Access Level III
- Minimum 2 years of Rope Access experience
- 40-Hour Radiation Safety Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Passport
- TWIC or ability to obtain
- HUET/Water Survival
- SafeGulf
- Previous inspection and/or NDT experience
- Ability to work offshore, at heights, and in physically demanding environments
NDT Level II certifications are preferred but not required. Candidates holding Level II certifications must provide current certifications, training records, and documented OJT hours for each applicable method.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise offshore rope access activities while ensuring compliance with IRATA and company safety requirements. Perform and support inspections of offshore structures, vessels, pipelines, piping, and equipment; identify corrosion, defects, and other anomalies; complete inspection documentation and reports; maintain rope access equipment and operational readiness; and provide offshore training and mentoring to team members.
