Position Overview

The Payroll Officer III plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely execution of all payroll, tax, insurance, and social security processes for all employees. This role supports both payroll and non-payroll personnel functions, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations, with assistance from the HR team and supporting HRIS systems.

  • Social Security Institutes

  • Labor Office

  • Tax Authorities

  • Auditing Teams


Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in labor and industrial relations meetings regarding payroll matters.

  • Administer and enforce company compensation policies—collective and individual.

  • Process and manage payroll to ensure accurate salary, fee, tax, and contribution disbursement.

  • Maintain relations with institutional insurance and social security agencies.

  • Provide guidance on salary, tax, and contribution matters to management and employees.

  • Create and enforce harmonized procedures and policies across company units and subsidiaries.

  • Maintain and update payroll records within internal systems.

  • Oversee the issuance and accuracy of pay slips and ensure compliance with internal pay policies and regulations.

  • Validate pension contributions, tax applications, income tax return data, termination benefits, and related calculations.

  • Ensure project hours are accurately reported and allocated.

  • Maintain data integrity across HR and payroll systems.


Job Scope

  • Functional Scope: Payroll, Social Security, Income Tax, Benefits, and Perquisites Administration

  • External Relations: Direct engagement with public authorities and external institutions

  • Population Managed: Approximately 1,000 employees


Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience

  • HR experience with exposure to compensation, benefits, or labor compliance

  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)

  • Familiarity with payroll and HRIS systems
