Job Details

The successful candidate will have commercial responsibility for the Offshore Wind sector globally, reporting functionally to the Robotics and Industrialised Solutions Commercial Director. They will also be responsible for managing the commercial office in the UK.

Tasks:

  • Support the identification of the Strategic Guidelines for the achievements of the offshore wind related targets.
  • Organise the commercial efforts to acquire the BAS (Base Case Acquisitions Scenario) and bid the Dlist (proposals to offer).
  • Promote early engagements with clients and identify and originate organic development opportunities, acquisition of projects and partnerships to fulfil our strategy and goals in close liaison with Business Development.
  • Lead transaction lifecycle: origination, valuation, due diligence, and deal negotiation.
  • Monitor market trends, investments, route-to-market, and levers to gain competitiveness.
  • Readily update the CRM working platform
  • Provide regular updates on the activity.

Essential Skills for the Job:
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Ability to manage both internal stakeholders and customer relationships.
  • Ability to develop analysis of markets, business performance, customer investment strategies and plans, including the profitability, revenues, pricing and cost (with the tendering function, reporting to the Business Lines) for the relevant sector.
  • Competence in structuring business cases and preparing relevant decision-making materials towards internal approval bodies.
  • Expertise in financial modelling is beneficial.
  • Conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing structures.
  • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis.
  • Excellent leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and coordinating teams whether located in the same location or internationally.
  • Above 10 years of professional experience in the offshore wind industry and/or in a similar position, proving a good network in the industry.
  • Empathy, organisation, rigour, communication, willingness to share info and contributions, embrace company objectives and vision.
