EPRD Campaign – Offshore Decommissioning
The client requires experienced Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs) to support the 2026 offshore Engineering Preparation, Removal and Disposal (EPRD) campaign. The campaign comprises three major decommissioning activities executed from Construction Support Vessels (CSVs) across three disembarked offshore assets.
Activity levels will increase significantly from March through late autumn, with varying campaign durations and Personnel on Board (POB) levels. As such, the role requires strong, visible leadership and the ability to manage complex offshore work scopes safely and effectively.
Roles will operate on an equal-time rotation, with flexibility required to respond to operational needs. Some onshore involvement will be required during the onboarding phase to ensure alignment with project-specific systems, processes, and the overall campaign schedule.
These are short-term contract roles, typically 3–6 months, offered at a competitive rate reflecting the level of responsibility, leadership, and specialist expertise required.
The EPRD Offshore Installation Manager will be responsible for all activities within the installation 500-metre safety zone during preparation and lifting activities executed by the removal contractor.
The OIM will hold primacy for command and control of the installation, including responsibility for emergency response in accordance with PFEER regulations.
During offshore campaigns, the EPRD OIM will form part of the offshore vessel team, supervising preparation and lift activities executed from removal contractor vessels, operating on an equal-time rotation.
