Ensure full compliance with customer QHSE/HSE policies throughout all project activities.
Install, commission, and operate the MPD Control System on drilling rigs.
Develop a working understanding of the technical aspects of MPD operations during each project.
Provide ongoing project support and technical guidance to the client, drilling contractor, and MPD field personnel through the Well Site Supervisor (WSS).
Support the preparation of End-of-Well Reports (EOWR) and related project documentation.
Develop and maintain event graphs on a routine basis or upon customer request.
Ensure the implementation and ongoing compliance with all QHSE procedures during MPD operations.
Perform calibration, documentation, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrumentation measuring level, temperature, pressure, flow, and other process variables.
Assist with rig-up and rig-down of MPD equipment under the direction of the WSS.
Apply a systematic approach to troubleshooting, providing hands-on support as required.
Maintain continuous operational support to the drilling operation.
Conduct routine maintenance and system checks on MPD equipment.
Monitor and operate the MPD choke manifold and supporting equipment, strictly following WSS guidance and operating procedures.
Experience in calibration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and project start-up activities.
Hands-on operation of MPD system components.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven troubleshooting capability.
Working knowledge of MPD choke control software.
Basic understanding of setting up and operating various MPD applications.
Proficient in the use of multimeters and signal generators for instrumentation setup and calibration.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
2–4 years of field experience in the oil and gas industry, including drilling rig operations.
Preferred: 2–3 years of experience in MPD, UBD, or PMCD operations.
Demonstrated technical competency with MPD equipment and operations.
Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation processes.
Ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in confined spaces and from elevated platforms.
Must be capable of wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work extended hours and provide overtime coverage as needed.
Primarily a field-based position requiring worldwide travel on short notice.
No fixed rotation; assignments may require 30+ consecutive days in the field.
Shift work with typical 12-hour shifts; including handovers and meetings, workdays may extend to 14 hours.
On-call support is required; personnel may be contacted off-shift to assist with critical troubleshooting and repairs.
MPD projects are high-value, high-risk operations, where equipment failures or downtime can create high-pressure environments.
