Position: Materials Handler
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime (if applicable): Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays
Job Summary:
The Materials Handler plays a key role in supporting production operations by efficiently moving materials from machines and workstations as needed. This position is responsible for issuing and transferring parts to ensure smooth workflow, and may also assist the Production Planner and Assembly Stores team.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport materials between workstations to support production flow.
Issue and transfer parts for use in production.
Assist the Production Planner and Assembly Stores as needed to support scheduling and inventory control.
Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement efforts in daily operations.
Requirements:
Ability to work the assigned schedule and overtime as needed, including early mornings and occasional Saturdays.
Basic understanding of materials handling and production processes preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
