Manufacturing Welder

We’re partnering with a manufacturing organization to hire a Manufacturing Welder to support production operations in a shop environment. This role is responsible for weld preparation, welding execution, and weld finishing in accordance with drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Prepare materials and components for welding based on drawings and specifications
Perform welding in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, and grind component parts as required
Inspect completed work to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met
Detect faulty equipment operation or material issues and report concerns
Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
Follow manufacturing processes, safety standards, and work instructions
Apply Manufacturing System principles to support continuous improvement initiatives
Required
Experience performing welding and fabrication work in a manufacturing or shop environment
Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications, and written instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Safety-focused mindset and proper use of PPE
Preferred
Experience welding in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
Familiarity with structured manufacturing systems or continuous improvement practices
Comfortable working in a production-focused environment
Onsite manufacturing / shop setting
Exposure to heat, noise, and standard shop conditions
Hands-on, safety-sensitive role
