Job Title: Manufacturing Technician – Shaped Charge Manufacturing
Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain BATFE L4 clearance

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our shaped charge manufacturing team. This role involves operating semi-automated production bays, installing mechanical tooling, and packaging charges in a fast-paced, hazardous materials environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot product, process, or program defects to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to run production bays.
• Install mechanical tooling using hand tools (e.g., Allen wrenches, torque wrenches).
• Work in a semi-automated manufacturing environment with hydraulic presses, robots, and conveyors (operation only, no maintenance).
• Handle and package shaped charges (explosives) in accordance with safety protocols.
• Employ test techniques for key cell projects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material in daily operations.
• Troubleshoot product, process, or program defects and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain production tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Required Experience & Skills:

Top 3 Skills:

1. Comfort with HMIs or touchscreen systems (e.g., POS systems).
2. Mechanical aptitude with basic hand tools.
3. Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., fast food, Amazon).

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a demanding production setting.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, and automated machine operation.
• Strong adherence to productivity and safety standards in a hazardous materials environment.
• Not suitable for candidates who prefer task-based, slower-paced work.
