The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing maintenance activities in accordance with the Maintenance Program to ensure timely delivery of equipment that meets operational demand. This role supports efforts to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce service delivery costs, enhance asset availability, and boost overall productivity within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE), Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center.
Perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities under direct supervision.
Adhere to all transactional processes within the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
Follow company's and division-specific TLM standards and protocols.
Develop and maintain technical competencies in alignment with the TLM Competency Management System.
Actively participate in and support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance practices and operational efficiency.
Support initiatives related to Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
No prior experience necessary; this is an entry-level opportunity.
Must demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills.
Work setting may include shop, yard, or field environments depending on assignment.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, coveralls, and safety boots.
Casual dress code when not in required PPE.
