Job Summary:
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for executing routine and higher-level maintenance activities in accordance with the established Maintenance Program. This role ensures the timely delivery of equipment to meet operational demands and supports continuous improvement in maintenance performance, cost efficiency, and asset availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance activities under the direct supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician.
Follow and execute maintenance tasks per the Maintenance Program and operational priorities.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems, adhering to transactional discipline.
Comply with Schlumberger and division-specific TLM standards and safety procedures.
Build and maintain required technical competencies as outlined in the TLM Competency Management System.
Support and contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives focused on reducing Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), enhancing Maintenance Efficiency, and improving Asset Availability and People Productivity.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure maintenance goals and timelines are met.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification preferred.
Previous maintenance or mechanical experience is an asset but not required.
Basic understanding of maintenance practices, tools, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to learn and follow technical instructions and procedures.
Computer literacy for data entry and system interaction (e.g., TLM systems).
Willingness to work in a hands-on, physically active role.
Work Environment:
This position may involve working in shop or field settings.
May require lifting, standing, or exposure to various weather and operational conditions.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
