Location: Kellyville (NEST training provided on site)
The Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that equipment is delivered on time and in line with operational requirements. This position supports the efficient utilization and upkeep of assets by performing basic maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.
Perform tasks as assigned by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician.
Carry out low-level, noninvasive maintenance activities following guidance and under direct supervision.
Ensure that all assigned equipment is maintained in accordance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), relevant maintenance programs, and standard work procedures for the Division.
Adhere to TLM transactional discipline by accurately recording materials, supplies, labor costs, work orders, parts usage, time to maintain, and equipment maintenance performance history.
Comply with Division TLM standards, policies, and procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing asset utilization, reducing cost of service delivery (CoSD), and improving maintenance processes.
Assist Maintenance Technicians by contributing to efforts that improve efficiency and productivity.
Required NEST (New Employee Safety Training) will be conducted at Kellyville prior to commencing regular duties.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a maintenance or industrial support role is an advantage but not required.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance procedures.
Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and adhere to company standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document work activities.
Work is performed in an industrial or workshop environment.
May require standing for long periods, lifting, or working around machinery.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
