Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery. This role ensures injection molding equipment is operated, maintained, and delivered according to operational requirements while actively identifying opportunities to improve service quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Operate injection mold machines in accordance with established procedures, competency levels, and job requirements
Participate in pre-job briefings and toolbox meetings with crew members
Plan and execute routine maintenance activities for a designated location (excluding Technology Lifecycle Management activities)
Maintain shop and field equipment in safe working condition, reporting any issues, failures, or deviations from standards
Ensure equipment is prepared, delivered, and available on time to meet operational demands
Identify and recommend improvements to service delivery processes and equipment performance
Participate in equipment failure investigations and root-cause analysis as required
Apply manufacturing system principles and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines at all times
Experience operating or maintaining Injection Mold Machines (IMM) preferred
Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow standard operating procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives
