Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain BATFE L4 clearance
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support shaped charge manufacturing in a semi-automated production facility. This role involves operating Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), installing mechanical tooling, running production bays, and safely packaging explosive products. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with touchscreen systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
Operate HMIs to run production bays and monitor processes.
Install and adjust mechanical tooling using hand tools (Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, etc.).
Work with hydraulic presses, robots, and conveyors in a production (operation only) capacity.
Package shaped charges (explosives) according to strict safety and quality standards.
Follow production documentation (job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material).
Maintain production tools and equipment to ensure reliability.
Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve product, process, or program issues.
Contribute to functional team projects and employ testing techniques for key cell initiatives.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols in a hazardous materials environment.
Top Skills:
Experience using HMIs or touchscreen systems (POS systems, industrial interfaces, etc.).
Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in basic hand tools.
Ability to perform in fast-paced work environments (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, or quick-service industries).
Additional Requirements:
Basic knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanical assemblies.
Experience with automated machine operation preferred.
Ability to work independently, stay proactive, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Not suited for candidates seeking slower, repetitive, or task-only work environments.
