Overview:
JAB Recruitment are currently sourcing for a Lead Operations Engineer on behalf of our Oilfield Services client, located in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a full-time, permanent position with our client. 

The job involves the opportunity to work on the installation of a jacket and topsides as well as the associated subsea infrastructure in support of a large field development in the Black Sea. 

The primary mission of the Lead Operations Engineer is to lead the readiness for the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel and its associated marine spread as well as be the project representative on-board the vessel during the offshore construction activities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Develop and prepare technical documents related to his/her work package(s).
• Follow-up the procurement and logistics plan related to his/her work package(s).
• Review the installation engineering of his/her work package(s).
• Lead the subcontracting activities associated to his/her work package(s).
• Interface with Vessel Management Team/Asset and Operations departments regarding the preparations of the Mobile Assets and vessel.
• Coordinate the project qualifications and tests (FAT/SIT) jointly with fabrication yards.
• Lead the mobilisation and demobilisation activities of his/her vessel and associated marine spread. 
• Interface with Project Marine Advisor regarding the vetting of the vessels (Marine assurance plan).
• Take an active part in the Operations Review and Project Risk Assessment process. 
• Coordinate the offshore operations on-board the vessel as project representative.
• Follow-up the project close-out of the invoicing process.
• Support the Project Operations Manager (or delegate) related to the readiness of the vessel.
