The Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) to customers. This role supports field and maintenance crews in preparing and operating equipment for oilfield operations while ensuring compliance with all HSE standards. The Equipment Operator plays a key role in maintaining equipment readiness, crew safety, and successful service execution.
Ensure job deliverables are completed accurately and delivered on time.
Participate in pre-job safety and toolbox meetings with crew members.
Maintain equipment in safe working condition, promptly reporting problems or deviations.
Assist in preparing equipment for rig-up and rig-down operations.
Operate equipment in accordance with competency level, job requirements, and company standards.
Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and wear required PPE.
Maintain current safety training certifications.
Entry-level to experienced candidates considered.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in physically demanding and outdoor environments.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Minimum: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
CDL or willingness to obtain is preferred (may vary by role/region).
Company-provided training and certifications as required.
Field-based operations with exposure to outdoor and variable conditions.
PPE provided: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, coveralls, safety boots.
