Job Title: Electrical Assembler 

• Location: Sugar Land, TX

• Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM (8 hours/day; weekends as needed)

• Pay Rate / Salary Expectation: USD 21.00 per hour 

Position Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing electronic/mechanical products, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components across all product lines, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.

• Test assembled products and troubleshoot/resolve any assembly or testing issues.

• Read blueprints, design drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Identify components, use pertinent hand tools, and apply rework techniques.

• Operate equipment, dimension, and set tolerances for mechanical parts and assemblies.

• Create labor records for all transactions.

• Utilize manufacturing system principles and tools to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant assembly experience (Beginner to Intermediate level).

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

• Certifications: IPC-610 certification required.

• Key Skills & Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology).

  • Assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards (PCWs/PWAs).

  • Electronic component identification and reading design drawings.

  • Strong understanding of quality standards.

  • Ability to use a microscope for long periods.

  • Fine motor skills and experience with Blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Software & Systems: Computer proficiency and experience with SAP.

• Language: Proficiency in English.
