Internal Auditor (Finance Focus) | Houston, TX / Open to Relocation
Houston, TX (Hybrid: Mon-Tue Office, Wed-Fri WFH – strict requirement)
Travel: 2 weeks every other month (Paris, France; notified 2 months in advance)
Experience: 8–10 years in Finance or Mixed Audit (IT + Finance)

Role Overview

• We are seeking an Internal Auditor with a finance focus to evaluate financial and operational processes, ensure compliance, identify risks, and recommend improvements. This role is a fast-track path into finance leadership, providing opportunities for growth beyond audit.
• Experience: 8–10 years, including at least 1–2 years in Finance/Internal Audit or a mix of IT & Finance audit; Big4 experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, risk assessment, process improvement.
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time, ~6 trips per year.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – Mon & Tue in Houston office, Wed-Fri WFH.
• Note: IT audit-only backgrounds will not be considered. Minimum 1–2 years of Finance audit experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements across global business operations.
• Examine financial records, accounting practices, and operational processes to identify risks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze risk management processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with management to implement policies promoting transparency and accountability.
• Participate in special projects, due diligence, post-acquisition reviews, and investigations as required.
• Stay current on audit best practices and job-related technology.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s or professional certifications (CPA, CIA, ACCA) preferred
