Our Oilfield Services client is currently looking for an experienced Construction Engineer who is able to manage construction works of a large tank / container, project site is located in the North East.
Candidates must have:
- Proven experience in construction management
- Participated in major infrastructure or industrial projects
- Technical background: piling, civil works and / or mechanical works (Steel structure, piping, equipment installation, E&I)
Ideally have previous experience in Cryogenic Tanks (not mandatory)
1. Safety Management: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols and practices throughout the project to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
2. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that the works meet the required quality standards and specifications Design Coordination: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure that the works meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements and best methods for construction are implemented..
3. Liaise with HR and administration to ensure correct set-up and management of IR relation of our subcontractors
4. Timeline Management: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any delays or deviations from the schedule to ensure timely project completion.
5. Budget Management: support construction manager for budget for subcontracted works in its remit, establish the construction budget, subcontract management and progress control and reporting
