JAB Recruitment is actively seeking a Commissioning Technician to support one of our prestigious in global engineering and technology primarily serving the offshore oil and gas industry, with operations in defense, aerospace and renewables at their Cleveland, Ohio location. PLEASE NOTE

• This is a contract position - estimated 2 months
• Onsite role | Monday - Friday / 2:30pm - 10:30pm
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely without present or future need for visa sponsorship. No sponsorship available

• Supports operations by performing precision installation, modification, and removal activities on existing infrastructure and robotic systems. This role requires hands?on technical work including drilling, magnet installation, epoxy application, and removal of detents and legacy components. The contractor will work in a structured operational environment, utilizing power tools and equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Drill holes into existing surfaces in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, and safety guidelines
• Install magnets into prepared locations with precision and consistency
• Apply epoxy materials and finish surfaces to be flush with existing structures and service interfaces
• Remove detents, legacy systems, and obsolete hardware as required
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and vacuum equipment
• Perform surface preparation, cleanup, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work area
• Comply with all Mobile Robotics safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
• Follow detailed instructions, technical documentation, and quality standards
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and project personnel
• Maintain reliable attendance and complete assigned work within scheduled timeframes
• Perform additional related duties as assigned to support operational objectives
• Complies with client specific operational and safety procedures

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, and work in varied physical positions for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms for drilling, tool operation, material handling, and detailed installation work
• Ability to work in environments that may involve noise, dust, and industrial equipment
• Ability to wear job specific PPE

• Prior experience performing hands?on technical, maintenance, or installation work in an industrial, manufacturing, or operational environment
• Demonstrated experience using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts consistently
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Will need steel toe boots
