Bulk Plant Operator

Position Overview

The Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable blending, handling, and delivery of bulk materials and products to wellsites. This role supports high-quality service delivery, strict compliance with company standards, and continuous improvement of plant operations. The operator also assists in training junior personnel and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, blend, and mix bulk products for wellsite delivery according to job program designs and timelines.

  • Verify and calculate material quantities required before loading to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Follow Product Line (PL) quality assurance procedures and maintain documentation for all product movements.

  • Coordinate the transportation of bulk materials with the Product and Service Delivery (PSD) and Logistics Teams.

  • Conduct daily equipment checks, maintain plant cleanliness, and perform routine maintenance on bulk plant systems.

  • Assist with monthly inventory counts, track incoming and outgoing goods, and complete daily shipping/receiving documentation.

  • Safely label, store, and dispose of additives and empty containers in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Identify opportunities for process and safety improvements and participate in job risk analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and wear required PPE at all times.

  • Support training and mentorship for new operators and trainees to ensure consistent operational standards.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in bulk plant, warehouse, or field operations preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, work with heavy materials, and operate plant equipment safely.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
