The CAM Field Specialist is responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and on-time product and service operations related to surface wellhead equipment. This position plays a critical role in field execution, from equipment installation to customer engagement, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves significant travel, long work hours, and on-call responsibilities. Training and certifications are provided.
Install, maintain, and remove surface system equipment for oil and gas wells.
Perform field tasks including rig-up and rig-down of equipment.
Ensure safe and compliant operations at the well site or job location.
Participate in job risk assessments and pre-job safety meetings.
Identify opportunities for service quality improvements and communicate suggestions.
Provide support to team members and mentor less experienced personnel as needed.
Accurately document work performed and maintain clear communication with supervisors and customers.
Represent the company professionally during all field assignments and customer interactions.
Attend all required technical and safety training programs, including travel to Kellyville, OK.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
No prior industry experience required—entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of tools and equipment.
Willingness to learn technical and safety standards.
Effective time management and troubleshooting abilities.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must live within approximately 1 hour of Carmichaels, PA.
Proficiency with basic hand tools is required.
No pre-existing certifications necessary; training and certifications such as forklift, man lift, etc., will be provided.
On-call availability required; current rotation is 4 weeks on / 1 week off.
No fixed shift; work hours vary by job and customer demand.
Typical shift duration is 12–16 hours including drive time.
May be required to remain on-site for extended periods (e.g., up to 30 hours).
Must be able to travel to remote well sites and attend out-of-state training (Kellyville, OK).
