The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products across multiple product lines, ensuring that all work meets quality, performance, and safety standards. This role involves hands-on mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Assemble components and subassemblies for all product lines using the correct tools, fixtures, and procedures.
Perform testing of assembled products to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or assembly issues during the build and test process.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings accurately.
Identify components, apply correct rework techniques, and use appropriate hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Ensure proper dimensioning and setting of tolerances on mechanical parts and assemblies.
Accurately record all labor and production transactions in the manufacturing system.
Apply the principles of the company’s Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and product quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company HSE policies.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related production environments preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
