Position Summary:
JAB Recruitment is currently seeking skilled and motivated Assembler candidates for a direct opportunity in Patterson, LA. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment. The Assembler will be responsible for building and testing components across multiple product lines and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components using appropriate tools and techniques.
Conduct functional testing to ensure assembled products meet quality and performance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the assembly and testing processes.
Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Identify components, apply correct dimensions and tolerances, and ensure proper assembly practices.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
Document all work and labor transactions in the production system.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical measurement instruments, and assembly equipment.
Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
