A graduate of both Robert Gordon and Abertay Universities, Andrew Ramsay formed JAB Recruitment after graduation. Turning a start-up into a market-leading global recruitment consultancy has been a long but very rewarding business journey, and Andrew was recognised even from the early days as a promising entrepreneur.

Andrew has an unrivalled knowledge of the global energy industry and the challenges that it faces both now and into the future. He has been determined to make JAB Recruitment not only a success but also an example of social responsibility within even the harshest of business sectors. He’s also been keen to help the next generation of industry professionals to make their mark, via the not-for-profit Industry Spotlight initiative.

Chris is one of JAB Recruitment’s founding partners, and he has a thorough knowledge of all sectors within the energy industry, including oil & gas, petrochemicals, mining and renewables. Thanks to this knowledge and many years of experience he’s well-respected throughout the energy sector and in the recruitment field as well.

He has a passion for customer service and a dedication to honest, mutually-beneficial interactions with all our customers. Chris was a successful athlete, having played professional Rugby Union with Glasgow Warriors. His dedication and hard work in the sporting arena has been replicated in the world of recruitment, helping him to become a recognised authority within our industry.

With over 20 years international experience of high value technical staffing in the energy sector Colin leads from the front to accelerate business growth, having enjoyed a successful career in the UK where he learned the intricacies of international relationships, he has excelled in developing teams and businesses within the staffing sector across the Europe, Middle East and North America. Colin also Chairs several nonprofit boards.

Tosha has twenty-five years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry. Before entering into Recruitment, her career within the Marine sector included Crewing Management, Assistant Project Management, and Key Account support, in both the USA and abroad. Born and raised in Louisiana, where she is currently based, she has an in-depth understanding of the industry. Her leadership skills and passion for the industry is reflected in the success and growth of the Subsea & Marine vertical during her short, three-year tenure.

Kimberly Smith is Senior Manager for our US Recruiting Team based in Houston, Texas. She possesses recruiting expertise for oil and gas, petrochemicals, and EPC. Kimberly began her recruiting career in 2010 recruiting for commodity trading and marketing, and throughout her tenure has successfully placed energy professionals from line level to C-Suite, within Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream oil and gas entities. Currently, she is responsible for supporting clients throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle including account management and delivery for a variety of verticals including but not limited to business and commercial, engineering, project management, and project controls.

Shaun is Recruitment Manager based in the JAB Recruitment office in Aberdeen. A highly competent & committed professional with experience of working within a Recruitment environment in the Oil & Gas and Energy Transition industries.

Experience gained in both Recruitment & Account Management roles with Major Operators. Contracting companies and Clients throughout the supply chain.
