Survey Technician

Job Details

Position: Survey Technician.
Location: Vietnam 
Duration: 6-8 Weeks
Start Date: +/- Sept 9th. 

USA passport required • Seaman’s Book required for travel and Vietnam eVisa application • Offshore medical required; ENG1 will be required for the project and can be arranged once in Vung Tau if needed • Offshore safety certification required • Yellow Fever vaccination required • Experience with Hi-PAP required • Experience with APOS required • Experience with Quincy required • Must be able to obtain a Vietnam eVisa; the client will arrange this for the successful candidate • Passport ePhoto required for visa processing • Must be available to start mid-September • ENG1 or Norwegian Medical is preferred • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience preferred based on job order requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Support offshore survey operations for a project mobilizing out of Vietnam • Operate and assist with survey equipment and related technical systems in line with project requirements • Contribute to safe and efficient execution of offshore field activities • Perform equipment checks, setup, and operational support during the assignment • Work closely with offshore operations and project personnel to maintain readiness and deliver project objectives • Comply with all offshore safety, medical, and travel documentation requirements
