Job Title: Seismic Data Processing Operator (Second Shift)
Schedule: Second Shift | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Days Off: Sunday & Monday
Monitor and control seismic data processing tasks on large-scale cluster computing systems.
Allocate computing resources according to a daily operational priority list.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal users via email and phone.
Perform hands-on tasks including mounting tapes in drives and connecting USB disks.
Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and accurately, with optimal use of system resources.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating to support teams when necessary.
Participate in on-the-job training programs and strictly adhere to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies.
Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Comfort with executing standard commands in both environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, productivity, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external customers, vendors, and IT support personnel.
