Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager (PCM) for a new pipeline project in the North Sea. The successful candidate will oversee project controls, systems monitoring, scheduling, and contract administration to ensure that all aspects of the project are carefully managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and direct systems for monitoring and controlling the project's status at all locations, including cost analysis, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Implement project controls procedures for planning, scheduling, reporting, cost control, invoicing, risk and opportunity analysis, and contract management.
- Organize and maintain the best integration between scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions, ensuring all activities are planned and controlled within time, budget, and scope.
- Set up the Document Control System and coordinate the implementation of all necessary information and application systems.
- Supervise interfaces with other departments, such as Engineering, Installation, and Administration.
- Maintain the Project Control System during the execution phase, coordinate risk analysis, and ensure the project status is regularly updated, reflecting the most current trends and forecasts.
- Prepare control and monitoring documents to support decision-making by the Project Manager.
- Ensure regular updates to contractually required reports, invoicing to the client, and supporting documentation.
- Assist the project manager and contract administrator in managing contract changes and claims.
- Coordinate and lead the Project Control Team.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in EPIC/EPCI contracts.
- Proficient knowledge of Primavera P6 and SAP.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in a similar role in project controls.
